Talented Portuguese street artist Artur Bordalo (aka Bordalo II) has done it again, creating a beautiful and colorful owl sculpture on a wall in the city of Covilhã in Portugal out of recycled junk and trash.
The sculpture, called “Owl Eyes,” was cobbled together from tractor tires, corrugated sheet metal, and other bits of urban scrap and trash. Bordalo created the piece as part of WOOL, an annual festival held in Covilhã to foster the urban arts.
Bordalo is no stranger to street art, and has created numerous works that make especially ingenious use of their environment.
