Artist Covers Her Husband's Car In Sharpie Doodles And He Couldn't Be Happier

When Collen Kelton, an avid car enthusiast and member of the US Military stationed in Japan, got his 1995 R33 Nissan Skyline GTR, his intentions were to rev it up to be as fast as possible. He put plenty of work into it himself, but there was still something bugging him about the vehicle (besides the tiny scratches here and there)—the color. He really hated the silver coating, so his then-girlfriend, now-wife Allison decided to help out.

At first, she went in to cover up the tiny scratches on the bumper with her elaborate designs created with nothing more than a Sharpie marker. Once they both saw how great that turned out, Kelton agreed to let Allison cover the entire ride in her swirling patterns. They took a risk but, in the end, the couple couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
